For Immediate Release:
On Saturday, April 25, 2015, the Great River Fire Department will host an open house from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Individuals who feel they may be interested in joining the brave men and women of the department are encouraged to attend in order to speak with our fire fighters about membership. These volunteers courageously and unselfishly devote their time and energy to protect the lives, homes and businesses in our community by acting as first responders in medical emergencies as well as fighting fires. At the open house, they will be able to provide firsthand knowledge of what it takes to join their ranks as well as provide information on the benefits of membership.
If you are a person who wants to make a difference in the lives of others and reap the rewards of knowing that you have contributed to your community, take the first step and join us on this day.
We are actively recruiting members and welcome your interest in our commitment to others!
