Memorial Day Parade
Join us as we celebrate Memorial Day on Sunday, May 24, 2009. The parade steps off at 11am at the Great River Fire House, to Memorial Park on Great River Road. Stop by for the continuing tradition of hot dogs and beverages after the parade!

Fire Island Pines Blaze
At 10:36 pm on May 20th, the Great River Fire Department was requested to the scene of a working structure fire involving two homes on the Fire Island Pines.
